Acharya Shree Tulsi Blood Bank Now Operates 24/7
In the wake of the deadly coronavirus disease in India, Acharya Shree Tulsi Blood Bank at Jaysingpur will remain open for 24 hours. Chairman of the blood bank, Hon’ble Shree. Sanjay D. Ghodawat has extended the facility of free supply of essential platelets like RDP, FPP, etc., to all those patients who are in the first stage of Covid-19. However, it will be mandatory to get a letter from the District Collector, District Medical Officer, or any competent authority of the District Hospital to avail benefit of this facility.
Chairman of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, Hon’ble Shree Sanjay D. Ghodawat founded Acharya Shree Tulsi blood bank 20 years ago. The Blood Bank has been at the forefront of social work by providing free blood and blood platelets to many patients in Kolhapur district. It has proved to be a boon to patients during the recent calamities of floods and Malaria in the district. Shree. Sanjay D. Ghodawat himself contributed to this great cause many times since the inception of this service. Impressively, till date, he has donated blood on more than 75 different occasions.
